Early life

He was born in Bradford, to John Newbould (1856–1944), chemist, from
Pateley Bridge Pateley Bridge (known locally as Pateley) is a small market town in Nidderdale in the Borough of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it lies on the River Nidd. It is in the Yorkshire Dales an ...

Career

He worked mostly in London from the interwar period specialising in travel posters. His clients included the

Personal life

In 1919, Newbould married Marion Jane Thomson. He died in London on 24 December 1951.
